I am from Alappuzha.
My friends came to alappuzha when we were doing our 4th sem. We can't forget that trip for a number of reasons.
They stayed in my home. Although it was a two day trip we tried to saw almost everything within our reach.
In Alleppey they spend only 1 day.
Morning we went for boating. It was a private boat not a house boat. We were not having that much budget to take a house boat for rent.
We continued boating for about 2 hours.
Thankachan, was an experienced boat driver. He told us about how many celebrities own these houseboats and many more.
On the way we stopped in front of a restaurant called Arjun Restaurant. From there we bought cool drinks, snacks and many other items.
Afsal is always active and is ready for anything. We spend most of the time taking photos in mobile. By doing so, we got lots of pictures but its not possible to enjoy the natural beauty. Jeffry brought a digital camera from home. Also Kiran had a CyberShot Phone so we got pictures almost good.
Oh i forgot to mention the boat name, It was ML.Honey
Then on the way back we saw a group of ducks going in water. They are breed there especially for eggs and meat. Have you ever tasted duck fry or curry? If not come to alleppey or go to nearby hotel to taste it. But to get the true taste come to alleppey we know the correct ingredients and exact way
to prepare this heavenly dish.
For a family you should need atleast 3 ducks. Another thing is that it is not like chicken, You'll not get enough meat. Most of the pieces will be bones. If you wanna buy it come to changanassrery ac road . On the side itself a lot of shops are there. They will dress the duck and give you. Or there will be hotels preparing duck dish. Go to any one of them and have.
We came back to home to have lunch and took rest. When it was about 4 we went to beach. So many kids was flying kites in the beach. So we also bought one and tried to fly. Jeffry made the kite fly so high that it can't be seen . After some time it came down and crashed.

After that we had a photosession.
We took photos by standing near Remains of Ship Bay in Beach.
While we were taking photos a kid came interrupting.
Afsal was inventing new pose for the photoshoot. Whatever he tried to do the kid came and destroyed the whole idea everytime.
The time is about 10. So there was no auto to hire. so we walked till we get one.
Alappuzha Light House is very famous. Since the visting time is from 3 to 4, we just have a glance from outside. I was having a plan to go to Vijay Park and spend some time but the time didn't allow us.
Next day morning, they went to Ernakulam and spent some time there. By evening they headed to Palakkad.
